The Lynn Family Resource Center

The Lynn Family Resource Center (LFRC) is a program of Centerboard that provides members of our community access to family support services. Any family member can walk into the LFRC and receive assistance with any human services related issue. If services cannot be provided to a family member onsite at the LFRC, staff will provide information and referral to a network of service providers affiliated with the program. The Family Resource Center's philosophy is to "do whatever it takes" to help the family better meet its needs. The Lynn Family Resource Center is located at 16 City Hall Square in Lynn. We have a parking lot and are easily accessible by both the 435 and 429 bus routes.

The Lynn Family Resource Center offers a range of programs designed to empower families and individuals in the Lynn community. These initiatives focus on providing essential resources such as job training, financial literacy workshops, and access to health services. By fostering a supportive environment, the LFRC aims to address the diverse needs of families, helping them gain the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve self-sufficiency. Additionally, the LFRC connects participants with community partners to enhance their support networks and facilitate long-term success.

The Lynn Family Resource Center uses their Community Closet to service many families in Essex County. Clothing sizes range from toddlers to adults and are packaged and bundled by age.
